Do you offer tooth whitening (bleaching)?
Yes we offer in house (chairside) whitening and custom at-home whitening kits.
How long does whitening take?
The chairside whitening can be done in one three-hour appointment. At-home whitening requires two appointments for the fabrication and fitting of a custom whitening tray. Results can be expected in one to two weeks with regular home use of the whitening gel.
Are the changes permanent with whitening?
All whitening methods require periodic home application of whitening agent to maintain your new shade.
Does whitening make the teeth sensitive?
Teeth can become sensitive during the time you are using the whitening agent. In most cases the sensitivity is temporary and should lessen after treatment is complete. Some patients may experience some soft tissue irritation.
Will a crown whiten along with my teeth?
The whitening agent will not affect the color of a crown or any tooth-colored restorations.
Will my insurance cover whitening?
Insurance does not usually cover tooth whitening.
