Crowns, or "caps" which are dental devices designed to protect teeth with large fillings or fractured/cracked teeth, improve the appearance of teeth or make minor modifications to the position of individual teeth.

Several designs exist, ranging from all ceramic crowns to gold or metal- reinforced crowns. Your dentist can help you determine if crowns would appropriately improve your smile, or if any of your teeth have fillings too large for the remaining tooth to sustain.
